Today we had a break through. We have all agreed on an artist for our coursework.
Ellie had met a girl named Jose Vanders after she did a cover at a gig. She is unsigned, makes and sings her own songs, has a great voice and is really good at playing her own instruments (piano). Although we had originally said we wanted acoustic but we all agree that this is really good and just from listening to it once we have come up with a couple of ideas that we could incorperate into the music video.

The comments that people have made show us that this song is liked by a lot of people and would do quite well in the market if backed by good advertisement and a proper video. It also shows us that our artist has the "normal person" look. She is a normal girl, like everyone else. The kind of person you would see out on the street.


We could use the clapping at the beginning to switch the clips in time with. As there are different story lines we could switch between each of the characters and sotries as a way of introducing each one.
We could go random (as the artist appears to be) and have random people in the back ground clap when there is a clap.
We could have the main characters clap when the artist does and use that as a way to switch between clips. Maybe use it once or twice like a swip screen. When they clap it is a close up on the hands and we can swip to another shot as their hands go past.
